Theresa “Dianne“ Maillet
1935-2019
RICHIBUCTO, NB – Theresa
«Dianne» Maillet 84, of Richibucto passed away peacefully,
surrounded by her family at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home on Monday,
December 2, 2019. Born in Saint-Charles, she was the
daughter of the late Antoine Daigle and
late Elmire (Daigle)
Daigle.
Dianne will
be sadly missed by her loving husband of 67 years,
Zoël Maillet of Richibucto; four daughters, Joanne
Babineau (Simon) of Aldouane, Linda Richard (Donald), Doreen Daigle
(Gerald), Wanda Maillet (Serge) all of Richibucto; eight
grandchildren, Wanda, Brenda, Angie, Wayne, Tammy, Marc, Melissa,
Josée and many precious great
grandchildren.
She is also
survived by four brothers, Rene Daigle of Galloway, Gerald Daigle
(Laura) of Richibucto, Zoël Daigle (Annie) of Richibucto,
Richard Viau (Patricia) of St-Julienne, Quebec
and many nieces and nephews.
Besides
her parents, she was predeceased by one infant sister, Beatrice; one
brother, Alpha and one grandson, Duane.
Visitation will be held at
Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto on Friday from 9:00 am
until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be
celebrated on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 11:30 am, St. Louis de
Gonzague Roman Catholic Church in Richibucto. Donations in
Dianne’s memory may be made to the St. Louis de Gonzague
Roman Catholic Church and would be appreciated by the family.
The family wish to express a special thank you to the staff
at the Rexton Lions Nursing Home for all the kind &
compassionate care given to Dianne. Arrangements are in care
of Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto
