Obituary of Ted Green
GREEN, Bernard (Ted) Edmund – passed into the presence of his Saviour on Sunday, December 15th, at 9:30 a.m., at Hastings Manor. He is survived by his wife Eleanor and her children, Mark (Lynne) Allan, and Melody (Patrick) Ronca. Also surviving is his daughter Wendy Mawdsly, daughter-in-law Rose Green, grandchildren, Robbie, Katelyn, Billy, Felicia and Taylor along with seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife Patricia Jeanne and his son Robert. Ted was born in London, England and served in the Royal Air Force as an Aero Engine Technician. When he came to Canada he joined the R.C.A.F. Base at Trenton and served there until retirement. He was active in the Boy Scouts at one time and was involved in several choirs in the Belleville area. In retirement, Ted and Eleanor spent many happy years travelling throughout North America in their RV, visiting friends and family along the way. Funeral Service will be held at Quinte Alliance Church, 373 Bridge Street West, Belleville, on Wednesday, December 18th, 2019, at 1:30 p.m. Visitation prior to the service will begin at 12 noon. Special thanks to the staff at Birch Villa, Hastings Manor and our Alliance Church family for their many acts of kindness. If desired, donations to The Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada- www.cmacan.org (to be designated to the Justice and Compassion Ministry), would be appreciated by the family.
