Shirley Frances Reeve, age 90, of Stratford passed away peacefully at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on December 23, 2019. Born in Cape Croker, Ontario, daughter of the late Resime and Florence Akiwenzie.
Shirley worked at Canadian Fabricated Products until her retirement. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish and the Catholic Women’s League.
Beloved wife of the late Horace Ivan Reeve who predeceased her October 22, 2018. Loving mother of Gwen Waeijen (Herman), Ralph Reeve and Ann Andreica (Sean Barker) and son-in-law Alexa Andreica. Grandmother of Valerie Armstrong (Josh), Carolyn Pembelton (Dominic), KC Harmsworth (Derek), Ambrose Waeijen (Brianne), Amelia Waeijen, Ivan Reeve (Megan) and Kaitlyn Andreica. Great-grandmother of Bethany, Tyler, Jason, William, Andrew, Riley, Emma, Chelsea, Haylyn, Spencer, Colton, Cornelius and Regina. Also survived by sister Teresa Nadjiwan and many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by brother Ambrose Akiwenzie (Sylvia) and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Gladys, Isabel, Dorothy, Marjorie, Laurie, Roland and John.
Visitation at Immaculate Conception Parish, 50 Well Street, Stratford on Saturday, December 28, from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. A reception will be held in the Parish Hall following the interment at Avondale Cemetery.
