ROBERT WILLIAM VOSPER
Robert William Vosper , 92 of London passed away at University Hospital on Dec 24, 2019.
Beloved husband for 55 years of the late Jessie Margaret ( Hurley) Vosper (2009). Loving father of Heather Jane Vosper of London. Dear brother of Margery Isaac of London. Special Uncle of Sandra (Gil) Webb, the late Arthur Hurley (2019) and Danny (Deborah) Hurley and their families.
Predeceased by his parents John J. and Elva M. (Etty) Vosper, sister-in-law Annie Mae Hurley, brothers-in-law Jack Isaac, Bert, John (Connie) Arthur and Fred (Jean)Hurley.
Bob was a devoted employee of General Motors Diesel London for 42 years retiring in 1992 as Manager of Export Finance. He had a deep and abiding love for his family and his church. As an active member of First St. Andrew’s United Church, London (FSA) he served as an Elder and Presbytery Representative and in many capacities over his years on Church Council. In recent years he developed a great fondness for the members of the Brown Bag Lunch Group at FSA and the church family at Siloam United Church, London.
Friends will be received at Siloam United Church, 1240 Fanshawe Park Rd. E., London on Thursday January 2, 2020 from 6-8 pm where the the funeral service will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 11 am with Rev. Dr. Sheila Macgregor and Rev. Dr. David McKane officiating. A reception will follow. Interment in Knox Presbyterian Cemetery, Mitchell.
