Obituary of Ray Brown
BROWN, Ray Kenneth – passed away peacefully at home with family on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the age of 81 years.
Ray Brown of Pembroke, beloved husband of Joan Brown (nee Hamilton), dear father of Kathleen (Fred Sprenger) and grandfather to Morgan and Alexandria. Predeceased by his brother Gerald and survived by his sister Heather.
Ray was co-proprietor of Brown’s Automotive Supplies for over 30 years. Ray was happiest when he was sitting in his chair overlooking the Ottawa River or puttering around his bush lot. He was a builder at heart and always had a project on the go.
Respecting Ray’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A spring interment of ashes will be held at Zion/St. Timothy’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pembroke. Arrangements entrusted to the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, Pembroke. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Pembroke Regional Hospital or St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church, Pembroke would be appreciated.
