Obituary of Ralph Burton Williams
WILLIAMS, Ralph Burton – age 83 of Milford passed away on December 20, 2019 at the Mira, Truro. Born in Mill Village, he was the eldest son of the late Evelyn May (Stoddart) and the late Lloyd Williams. He was an employee of Atlantic Tractors & Equipment, Halifax for 28 years retiring in 1998.
Ralph enjoyed hockey, baseball and soccer and fishing. He coached minor hockey in the house league in Lantz. He was a hard-working man and always willing to lend a helping hand. He possessed great strength which was evident during the past few months.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marion (Langille); his children David Williams (Diana), Marlene Collins (Derek), and Jo-Ann MacDonald (Mark); grandchildren Mariah, Patton, Justin, Heidi, Brandon and step grandson Ryan; a brother Keith (Helen), sister in-law Beulah.
He was predeceased by brothers, Dale, Kenneth, and Ronald and sisters-in-law Joyce and Phyllis.
Visitation will be held 6-8 pm Sunday in the Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie, from where a Celebration of Life will be held 1pm Monday December 23, 2019, Lori Crocker D.M. officiating.
A reception will follow in the funeral home reception area. A private family committal will be held in Brookside Cemetery.
