Pauline (Nee Pavlik) Kramreither passed away peacefully on December 9, 2019 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony and survived by her sister Eveline Blasio.
Pauline will be sadly missed by her daughters Denise (Joseph), Theresa (Peter) and
Deborah (Daryl) and her sons Michael (Barbara), Richard (Angela) Anthony and Reinhart (Doris).
She will be also missed by her twenty-one grandchildren: Keith, David (Jennifer), William, Michael, Carolyn, Peter, Caroline, Emily, Kristin, Derek (Catherine),
Michael (Marie), Matthew, Johnathan, Julia (Melissa), Jennifer, Lauren, Stefan, Evan, Madison, Lukas and Nicholas and her three great grandchildren Liam, Ella and Axel.
Pauline was born in 1927 in Vienna, Austria, the daughter of Karl and Maria Pavlik. She experienced a difficult childhood during the great depression and as a young woman endured many challenges during and after the 2nd World War.
Her first son, Gerhart, sadly died in a car accident as a young adult. Her second son, Michael, was raised in Pennsylvania, USA.
In 1955, Pauline immigrated to Canada to join her third husband, Anthony Kramreither, Together they raised six more children. In the early years, the family lived in High Park, Downsview, Bayview Glen, and eventually settled in Thornhill.
In her later years, Pauline spent her winters enjoying the warmth, sunshine and camaraderie at her St. Petersburg, Florida condo (Sky Harbour). She enthusiastically introduced many friends and family to the Floridian lifestyle.
Her summers were spent at her cottage (The Castle) on Morrison Lake, where she held many wonderful family get-togethers.
Pauline led a vibrant and colourful life, surrounding herself with unique collections of art and furniture. She was very creative, having established her own fashion design firm, ‘Pauline Exclusive’ and loved to craft exquisite pieces of jewellery for her family and friends.
She believed in going for what you love and living life to its fullest. For those who had the privilege to know her, she set the bar high.
Her daughter Denise shares, “We will miss Mom’s passion for life, her resilient spirit, and her kind, generous heart. We love you Mutti.”
Her daughter Theresa adds, “Mom was such a force who lived 92 amazing years loving life and living it on her own terms. We loved her so and it’s heartbreaking to realize she is gone. We are so grateful to have been by her side throughout.”
Pauline’s family appreciates all of the health care professionals who cared for her at the St. Joseph Hospital and the Reactivation Care Center.
Please join the family in celebrating Pauline’s life on Saturday April 18th, 2020, between 1 pm to 4 pm at the home of Denise and Joe Bulger. Please text RSVP at (647) 982-4811.
Kindly share your thoughts and memories.
