Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Thursday, December 26, 2019. Joanne Susan (Harper) O’Meara, at the age of 70 years. Beloved wife of Robert O’Meara and dear mother of Jeffrey O’ Meara (Josee Brisebois), Michael O’Meara and Jennifer Gunn (Shamus). Fondly remembered by her four grandchildren Adam, Leah-Sophie, Katie and Breton. Sister of Audrey Davidson, Lillian McDougall (John), Marjorie Mott (Larry) and Dennie Flynn. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Joanne was predeceased by her brothers Jack and Fred Harper and by her parents Lloyd and Evalina Harper.
Arrangements are entrusted with the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville. A graveside service for Joanne will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged.
