Jozefa (Josie) Jamieson of Thedford originally of Poland passed away peacefully with family by her side at the North Lambton Lodge in Forest on Christmas Eve, Dec.24, 2019 in her 83rd year.
Loving mother of Jacek (Dorota) Wajszczyk of Sweden and Marcy(Rob)Nickles of Thedford. Cherished Grandmother- Babciu of Agnieszka (Henrik) Björk of Sweden; Rafal (Maj-Britt)Wajszczyk of Germany; Alli ( Dan)and Spencer (Nicole) Nickles of Thedford. Proud great grandmother to Sofie, Oskar and Filip Bjork of Sweden and Theodor and Adam Wajszczyk of Germany. Survived by her brothers in Poland: Marian and Kazimierz. Predeceased by Adam Wajszczyk (1975), Norm Jamieson (2009), her sisters Wilma(2016) and Janina(2017) and her beloved grandson Patrik (1983).
Josie in her circle of family and friends was well-known for her delicious pierogies, her green thumb, dedication to her Catholic faith and incredible love and commitment to her family, especially her grandchildren, and how much she loved attending many ringette and hockey games!
A service and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Alzheimers Society or St. Christopher’s Catholic Church in Forest.
