Herbert Theodore (Ted) MacLean
Ted, born January 17, 1951,
died peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on December 19th, 2019. His
dry sense of humour and engaging personality made him good company for
all who knew him and he will be greatly missed. Born in Sunny Brae,
raised in Moncton, he was the son of the late Hebert and Verna
(Matheson) MacLean.
Ted retired as a CNR conductor
in 2006, where he was employed for 35 years. He was an avid woodsman
who spent many hours hunting, fishing and living at the family cottage
in McKees Mills. He also enjoyed team sports and did well in slow
pitch baseball, darts and pool.
Ted is survived by his
partner, Zhihui Geng, son Kevin (Jennifer), grandchildren Jaxx and
Elisabeth, Fredericton; step-daughter Leanne (Chris), step
grandchildren Lily and Allie, Moncton; step-son Jason (Fiona) step
grandson Aiden, Moncton; sister Marguerite, Halifax; brother Gerry
(Jei), Halifax; several nephews and nieces, several grand nephews and
grand nieces and many cousins. He was predeceased by brother Jeffery
and infant brother William, both of
Moncton.
No service will be held. A
celebration of his life will be held at an undetermined later
date.

(858-1995).
Memorial contributions may be
made to Canadian Cancer Society or the Society of Prevention of
