It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Curt Barth on Saturday, December 14th, 2019. He had a tough battle, but died peacefully with his family by his side.
Curt is survived by his beloved wife Shelley; his loving daughter Shonna (Frank), and son Brian (Shelley), and his cherished grandchildren Kree-Lynn and Ayden. Dear son of Gerda Barth and brother to Ron (Anne), Howie. Curt is also survived by his father-in-law Ken Steeves, brother-in-law’s Ken and Doug and sister-in law Sandy and many nieces and nephews.
Curt was predeceased by his father Otto Barth and mother-in-law Audrey Steeves.
Curt loved is feathered and furry friends as well Kanga, Stella, Gibson and the late Roxie-Girl. He was loved by many and had a very infectious personality. He truly will be missed and would love us to be happy and not mourning over him. We all know he is drinking an OV as you read this.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the Hespeler Legion Branch #272, 26 Schofield St., Cambridge on January 11th, 2020 from 1-4 pm.
In lieu of flowers we are accepting donations on Curt’s behalf to the Royal Canadian Legion Hespeler Br. #272 or the St. Mary’s General Hospital. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Lounsbury Funeral Home.
