McMillan – Constance (Fern) passed into eternity on December 1, 2019 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Born in Kenora, Ontario, on March 29, 1938, she was 81 years old. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, John George McMillan (Jack); four grown children, Reid (Cathie), John (Barb), Lindsay Hyatt and Gloria Lacasse (Dorian); six grandchildren, Kailey Walker, Seth and Landon Hyatt, Camryn, Dorian and Carson Lacasse; one great grandchild, Elias; and one brother, Glen Sharpe. She was predeceased by her parents, Douglas and Constance Sharpe; her sister Dawn; her brother Doug; and her sister Holly. Fern worked for CP Telegraphs (Kenora); the Tax Department for the Town of Kenora; Touche, Ross Baily and Smart, Chartered Accountants in Saskatoon; King, Swancar and Compton (law firm in Kenora). She had many fond memories of the students she taught when she was a supply teacher for the Espanola Board of Education. Fern dedicated her life to caring for her family. She loved her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. A Memorial Service celebrating Fern’s life will be held at Queensway Pentecostal Church on Thursday, December 5 at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. If so desired, donations can be made to the Queesway Pentacostal Church. Arrangements by BOURCIER FUNERAL HOME Ltd, Espanola.
