We said our goodbyes to a beautiful young lady, Shannon Lee Brock-Newton of Forest, on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. Shannon rests gently now in the arms of her Saviour Jesus Christ. Best friend of Rick Newton, and cherished Mommy of their little miracle daughter Jordan, Shannon is treasured with endless love.
Shannon will be missed by her parents, Cameron and Lynda Brock, brother Bo, Grandma Dixon, and close friend Mike. Shannon is predeceased by her Grandpa Dixon. Remembered for her beautiful contagious smile by her church family, extended family, and many friends whom she truly cherished.
Shannon leaves her family blessed beyond measure; a helper, and a server, Shannon adored working with the public and especially appreciated working as a waitress where she could playfully banter with the patrons and take the time to evoke a smile. Rick and Shannon shared many precious moments before and during her illness. They loved just spending time together or visiting friends. A life of contentment, Shannon cherished her little family, spoiling Jordan and sharing moments, content with the tenderness of her family. The endearment shown and felt by Shannon, Rick, and Jordan by Ron & Lynda Wright, and their church family could never be expressed fully. Their love in mentoring, bringing meals, quiet talks, and surrounding the family with genuine care and compassion showed a love that has been faith changing.
A memorial service will take place at Forest Baptist Church, 19 Prince Street in Forest, Ontario on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at 10am.
