MARTIN BLASKOWITZ…..1932-2019………Martin was a child of World War 11 in Germany, he saw the destruction of his country, he suffered from hunger and hopelessness, which made him strong willed in the wars aftermath, Martin started working at a very young age and never stopped till he retired, in Germany he worked as a carpenter, in Africa he built churches,cloisters, schools and a huge commercial ship, in Canada he built houses and fishing boats, he was always building something his entire life. he lived passionately and never left food on the table in memory of his childhood sufferings, right through adulthood. Martin survived several heart attacks and went out on his own terms, that’s MARTIN BLASKOWITYZ his son’s wrote…..Martin passed away peacefully in his sleep and is sadly missed and cherished by his sons Lorenz in Dubai and Alfred in Dubai and other family and dear friends……REST IN PEACE my dear friend from your dear friend Ross, I am PROUD to have been your friend in life and will forever miss your wonderful company, going fishing in the boat I custom made for him, going shopping, driving to have a look at Cherry Point beach and our many wonderful breakfasts and the laughter and good times we shared together, keep a place for me in the next life…..MARTIN BLASKOWITZ, truly a wonderful man and friend.
