Anne Doreen Robinson, formerly of Greenway passed away peacefully on Monday, December 16, 2019, in her 87th year.
Beloved wife of the late Donald Robinson (1990) and mother of Ruth Robinson (2005), Robert (Beverly) Robinson, Karen (Gerry) Parker, Bert (Lorri) Robinson, and Merla Robinson (Ian) McLean. Anne leaves a legacy in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be missed by her many extended family, friends, and neighbours.
Memories of her loving care, carrot cake and date squares are fondly cherished by the many children who called her «Grandma Anne». She lovingly cared for many children, openly offering her home for special events to children with special needs, volunteering with the VON and annually collecting for the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Anne’s love for those around her was displayed as a true caregiver as she raised her own family while often providing full-time care to many of her elderly relatives. Not to be slowed down, Anne continued to take part in the many extracurricular events offered while at Chartwell, including the Parkhill Fair and the weekly Poor Boy Lunches at the Legion.
A visitation in memory of Anne will take place on Thursday, December 19 from 5pm – 8pm at M. Box & Son Funeral Chapel, 183 Broad Street in Parkhill. A service will be conducted on Friday, December 20 at 11am with Rev. Mark Issac officiating. Interment to follow at St. James Cemetery Clandeboye in Lucan.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne’s name to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Breast Cancer Society.
