passed away peacefully at Pinehaven Nursing Home, Waterloo on Friday, November 29, 2019. Born May 20, 1925 in DeMaat, O.V., Netherlands. Dear wife of the late Willem Klooster (2012) for 63 years. Cherished mother of Klaas and Sheila of Elora, Berendina (deceased) and Philip Donkersgoed of Guelph, Jeanette and Peter Meinema of Warman, Sask. and John and Barb of Arthur. Greatly loved by her grandchildren Denise (Chris) Meinema, Kathleen (Will) Rowe, Christie (Bryan) Meinema, Jeremy (Melannya) Klooster, Jeffrey (Celeste) Donkersgoed, Kimberly (Jason) Devenney, Carrie (Trevor) Price, Cherie Krekel, David Donkersgoed, Patricia Biffis, Bryan Donkersgoed, Spencer (Vanessa) Klooster and Zachary (Natalie) Klooster. Also loved by her great grandchildren Jordyn, Matthew, Ceara, Isabel, Hailey, Bianca, Owen, Gabriella, Ella, Joss, Tyler, Sienna, Ethan, Kayle, Willem, Navena, Stella, Nicolaas, and Kingsley.
Predeceased by her parents Geert and Beertje Harke, and brothers Jan Harke, Roelof (Femmigje) Harke, Klaas (Enjelina) Harke, Berend Harke. Survived by sisters-in-law Femmie, Nell, Margie, and brothers-in-law Herman and Peter.
The family will receive friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel 243 George St., Arthur on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church 149 Frederick St., East, Arthur on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at 11 a.m. Spring interment Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur.
Remembrances to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Arthur, or Alzheimer’s Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
