«The love that binds us
together is deep and strong». Khalil
Gibran. Who was he? Why was he special?
He was Billy, a loving, thoughtful Husband, father and
brother. Billy, who worked hard, provided well, smiled
often, didn’t complain or judge and accepted his illness
with dignity and perseverance. He will be ever loved and
remembered by his family and eight siblings. Billy passed away at the
Burin Peninsula Health Care Center in Burin on Sunday, November
17th, 2019 at the age of 72. Leaving
to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife Lillian of
40 years; son, Kirk Hodder (Connie) of Labrador City; daughter, Kim
Myles (Norm Pope) of Bay L’Argent; brothers, Doug Hodder
(Mary) of St. Bernard’s, Chris Hodder of St.
Bernard’s, Barry Hodder (Linda) of St. Bernard’s,
Frankie Hodder (Patricia Brazil) of Paradise, and Rennie Hodder
(Maureen) of Mount Pearl; sisters, Lucy Parrott (Frank) of Mount
Pearl, Sheila Bussey (Wilf) of St. John’s, and Mary Hynes
(Eddie) of Mount Pearl; many nieces and nephews plus a large
circle of extended family and friends. Billy was predeceased
by his parents, William and Bernice Hodder; sister-in-law, Millie
Hodder; and parents-in-law, Bill and Julie Myles.
Eternal peace and love are yours now
