Vida (Elita)’s Obituary
With heavy hearts the family of the late Vida (Elita) Darlene Gardner announce her passing at the St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto, ON on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the age of 48 years. Leaving to mourn, the pride and joy of her life, her children Jamie and Jordan, her parents: Vida and Abner Gardner, brother: DJ DeAngelo (Brenda) Gardner, nephews: Mark, Kody, niece: Kaitlyn, and a large circle of aunts and uncles, other relatives and many friends. Elita was predeceased by her brother Trace, grandparents: Herb & Pearl Purchase, Jack & Gladys Gardner. A visitation for family and friends will take place on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9pm from Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road. A funeral service will be held from St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, Park Drive on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 11 am with Rev. Roberta Woodman officiating, with interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations in memory of Elita, can be made to the Children’s Wish Foundation or the Ronald MacDonald House Charities.
