Tyler Anthony Bannon, age 43 years, passed away in Kincardine on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. Tyler was the best friend and husband of Jenelle for 18 years, together they raised their young son Will.
Tyler was the second youngest, growing up with his siblings Celeste (Robert) Waterman, Robert, and predeceased by his sister Olive Bannon (1973). Tyler is lovingly missed by his parents Bente (Kjeldsen) and Wayne Bannon of Grand Bend and parents-in-law of Jennifer Marchant and Kelly Thomas, brother-in-law to Christopher (Krista) Linklater, Jocelynn Thomas (Shawn), and Jolene Thomas (James).
Tyler was a Great father and mentor, he was his happiest enjoying the outdoors, hiking, fishing and camping with his son. A proud father, Tyler was Will’s Hero with an awesome sense of humour, compassionate heart, and outgoing drive. Tyler and his amazing sense of humour were loved by his nieces and nephews as well as his many friends and their children.
Tyler was a highly respected Control Technician at the Ontario Power Generation Bruce Nuclear Facility. A graduate of NLSS, Tyler went on to graduate from the Instrumentation and Electrical Engineering Program at Lambton College in Sarnia.
On Friday, November 15th at the Forest Royal Canadian Legion, beginning at 4pm, family and friends are invited to gather and share experiences and memories of Tyler, followed by an informal reception.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dorrell Young Memorial Fund, a fund set up to help families in Bruce County or the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
