1957-2019
CLEGHORN TRUDY – on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019; Trudy Lynn
Cleghorn, wife of the late Sheldon Cleghorn of Oak Bay, NB. Born in
St. Stephen, NB she is the daughter of Alexander (Dee) & Mary
Cleghorn.
Trudy worked very hard over the years as a bookkeeper overseeing the
many companies she and her husband Sheldon owned and operated, such as
6 apartment complexes, 5 gravel trucks and for Cleghorn Sales &
Service for many years. Trudy had many passions & interests
including reading, doing crosswords ,second hand stores, loved to
travel, or just plain soaking around in the tub. Trudy was always
making it first priority to find any time she could to spend with her
family. She especially loved helping others in need. She was well
known for giving you the shirt right off her back. It would be
Trudy’s greatest wish that instead of donations in her memory
that you would just express an act of kindness to some else.
Trudy is survived by 3 daughters Sarah Cleghorn , Kimberley
Cleghorn, both of Oak Bay, NB, and Loretta Cleghorn (Rick) of Little
Ridge, NB, her 2 sons Sheldon Jr (Carrie) of Oak Bay, NB, and Anthony
(Dean) of Smiths Falls, ON, 10 grand children Shelby, Roderick,
Gracie, Hillary, Lydia, Cali, Sheldon(Colby) , Tilliah, Jarah and
Ethan, 2 great grandchildren Kinsley and Audrey, 2 sisters, Judy of
Oak Bay, NB, and Cindy Jordan (Les) of Lawrence Station, NB, 2
brothers , Alexander (Toni) of Powell River, BC, and Allan Cleghorn
(Wendy) of Bayside, NB, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
There will be no visitation however friends are welcomed to
attend a memorial service to be held on Monday, December 2nd, 2019 at
11:00 am in the chapel of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St
Stephen, NB. Rev. Doug McLean officiating assisted by Marion Jamer. To
