Stella Margaret Fougere
1927-2019
Fougere, Stella Margaret, 92, formerly of Havre Boucher,
Antigonish County, passed away on November 23, 2019, in the Palliative
Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital in New Glasgow.
Born in Antigonish, she was a daughter of the late Nathaniel
and Evelyn Pettipas.
Stella was an avid bingo player and a wonderful baker, but
above all, she was a proud mother, grandmother, and great
grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Doris (Robert) Rehill,
Thorburn; grandchildren, Brandon (Eli), Dartmouth; Amber (Henry), Cole
Harbour; and Matthew (Kayla), Greenhill; and great grandchildren,
Edison and Lochlan.
Predeceased by her husband, Stanley; grandson, Jeremy; and
brother, Billy.
Visitation will be held Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm in
St. Paul’s Place, Havre Boucher. Funeral Mass will
be held Tuesday in St. Paul’s Church at 2:00pm, Reverend
Allan MacPhie presiding. Burial in the parish
cemetery.
In Memoriam, donations to the Palliative Care Unit of the
Aberdeen Hospital appreciated.
