It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Shirley Germaine (Deyelle) Verreault. She lost her fight in the early morning hours of November 25th at the Englehart Hospital after a stroke and a swift battle with lung cancer.
Shirley is the youngest daughter of Joseph (Joe Jobin) Deyelle and Sara (Sadie Furlotte) Deyelle of Elk Lake. She is predeceased by her parents Joe and Sadie, her loving husband Jean-Guy Verreault, her great-grandchildren Michael and Natalie Matt, her sister Therese Deyelle, her brother Raymond Deyelle, her half-sisters Eleanor Furlotte and Terry Coffey, and son-in-laws Rene Denomme and Marcel Chouinard.
She is survived by her elder brother Leonard (Houda) and her seven daughters Germaine, Linda (Vic), Noella, Raymonde (John), Rita (Gary), Tracy (Randy) and Veronica (Jason). She is also survived by her grandchildren Celine, Natasha, Brandon, Jamie, Michelle, Kristine, Nick, Liane, Nadia, Devon, Darcy, Cortney, Tania, Josh, Jordon, Alyssa, Renee, Travis, Eric, Jeremy, Angel, Haley, Jonathan and Zachery. She is also blessed with and survived by 32 great grand-children with two more on the way and her beloved dog Gus. Her life and passing has left a mark on us all.
The family invites Shirley’s loved ones to pay their respects at the Perrin Funeral Chapel on Friday, November 29, 2019 from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Perrin Funeral Chapel.
