Rose’s Obituary
MUISE, Rose Jane – age 44, Belleville, Yarmouth Co., passed away on Friday, November 1, 2019 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born November 6, 1974 in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of Bobby and Jane (Bourque) Muise of Sluice Point. Rose worked at Wood’s Farm where she rendered mink and worked during the strawberry and blueberry seasons. She had also worked at Canadian Tire and as a fish processor. Anyone who knew Rose, knew she absolutely loved her four cats Tigger, Shadow, Camo and Peanut. Rose was a very sociable person who enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking, playing cribbage and in her younger years, enjoyed playing sports. Aside from her parents, Bobby and Jane, Rose is survived by her common-law partner, Derek Pottier; a brother, Evan (Tammy), Abram’s River; a sister, Tammy (Daniel), Wedgeport and a nephew, Isaac. She was predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Helen Surette as well as by her maternal grandparents, Isaac and Constance Bourque. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A graveside service and interment will be held at a later date at Holy Family Parish Cemetery, Amirault’s Hill. It has been requested that there be family flowers only. Donations in Rose’s memory may be made to the Holy Family Cemetery or to Friends of TNR. The family would like to express its sincere gratitude and appreciation to the I.C.U. staff with special thanks to Marina and Allan for all that they did during this especially difficult time.
