Olive Kathleen Bell,
(RCAF Women’s Division veteran of WW2); Passed away peacefully at Strathcona Long Term Care, Mount Forest on Sunday November 3, 2019 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late William James Henry (Harry) Bell. Cherished mother of Richard William (Bill) and wife Susan of Arthur, Grandmother of Richard (Corinne) and John (Karie) and great grandmother of Brinlea, Charlotte, Abigail and Sean. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends. Olive was born and raised in Carman, Manitoba joining the Air Force in 1940. She married Harry 1946 and they farmed in Toronto Gore until 1987 when the family moved to Arthur Township and retired to Mount Forest in 2008. The family would like to thank the staff at the Strathcona Long Term Care for the compassion and care that they showed Olive. To honour Olive’s wishes cremation has taken place.
The family will receive friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 243 George Street, Arthur on Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Funeral Chapel at 11:00 a.m.
Private family interment in Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur.
As expressions of sympathy donations the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
