Obituary of Oland Hamilton
Hamilton-Oland Harold- 89 of Noel Shore passed away in The Colchester East Hants Health Centre Saturday, November 9th, 2019. Born in Noel Shore on March 7th,1930, Oland was the son of the late Harold and Ella (Reid) Hamilton.
Oland is survived by sister in law Marina Hamilton (Noel Shore) along with many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by brothers Louis, Lawerence and Carl Hamilton, sister Hazel Roscoe, sister in laws Marion and Madeline Hamilton and brother in law Ray Roscoe.
Oland worked as a sheet metal fabricator in Halifax for most of his working career. He was a big outdoorsman particularly hunting and fishing and known for his precision marksmen skills.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at The Mira Nursing Home, Truro and staff at The Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro for their compassion and care.
Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request of Oland. A private graveside committal service will be held Saturday, November 16th at 2pm in the Noel Shore cemetery. Donations in memory of Oland may be made to the Noel Shore Cemetery fund.
