Nan Beckett (Graham)
Nan died peacefully with her family by her side, in hospital, Smiths Falls, after a brief battle with cancer on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the age of 72. Beloved wife for over 48 years of the late Wayne Beckett. Loved mother of Shane Beckett (Jennifer England) and Ronda Seed. Adored grandmother of Aleah and Brock Seed and Nolan Beckett. Loved sister of Bruce (Donna) Graham and the late Reg Graham. Dear sister-in-law of Bev (Roger) Simpson and Diane (Doug) Duberville. Predeceased by her parents Donald and Joyce Graham. Fondly remembered and sadly missed by her numerous nieces and nephews, the Graham and Beckett families and many good friends. Nan will also be missed by her faithful companion Ben. Nan had a long career working at Giant Tiger as well as other business ventures. Following retirement, Nan enjoyed spending time at home, watching her favourite game show Jeopardy, reading and most of all time with family, especially Aleah, Brock and Nolan. She will be forever remembered and loved by her family, friends and former co-workers. Family and friends are welcome to gather and share memories at a Celebration of Nan’s life on Friday, November 22, 2019 at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #95 (Canadian Room) Smiths Falls from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A private family service will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery. In memory of Nan, donations to the Kingston Regional Cancer Centre or L.A.W.S would be appreciated and may be made at Blair & Son Funeral Home or at the Legion during the celebration.
