Obituary for
Mary Chaba
On November 13, 2019, Mary Chaba of Edmonton passed away peacefully in her sleep at 93 years of age. Mary is survived by her loving family, four daughters, eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Elaine (Ron), daughters Lora (Dave) and Leah (Jason), grandchildren Melanie, Braden, Rory and Luke. Lesia, daughter Shireen (Paddy), grandchildren Maisie and Rosie. Gloria (Danny), daughters Cindy and Lisa, grandchildren Brandon, Nicholas, Jack and Easton. Dickie (Carmine), sons Armando (Krystal), Danny (Lindsey) and Michael and grandchildren Sophia, Noah, Carmen and Marcello. Mary is also survived by her sister Tillie, sister-in-law Sophie, and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Anna and Samuel Chaba, husband George, son Teddy, son-in-law Jerry, grandson Justin, brother Peter and sister Audrey. With heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Boris Boyko for his exceptional care of Mary, we also extend our gratitude to the dedicated doctors and staff at the Robbins Pavilion, Royal Alexandra Hospital for their loving care and compassion. Divine Liturgy Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 10:00am at St. Josaphat’s Cathedral, 10825 97 Street, Edmonton with Father Peter Babej officiating. Interment at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
