GLEASON, Mary Loretta – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Mary Loretta Gleason (nee O’Brien), on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at the age of 97. Mary passed away peacefully at Miramichi Lodge, with family by her side. Mom was predeceased by our Dad, William Joseph Claude Gleason (2003). Left behind to mourn are her 8 children, Nancy (John) Berrigan, Jane Bulmer, Ann (Eric) Price, Margaret (Denis) Krueger, Danny (Debbie), Donna (Dave) Lecuyer, Michael (Marlyn) and Sandra (Jim) Turner. Also left to mourn are her grandchildren; T.J, Katie, Danny and Martin; Jonathan and Amy; Klinda, Dale and Pat; Mandy and Angie; Rory and Sam; Emily and Ben; Phillip, David, Bridget and Rebecca; Cody and Kenna. Mom was also blessed to have met her 20 great grandchildren. Mary was the daughter of the late Thomas and Annie O’Brien. She is predeceased by her brothers Leonard, Joseph, Sylvestre and Thomas John, as well as her sisters, Madeleine, Annie (Marcotte) and Beatrice (Jones). She is survived by her sister-in-laws Cecile O’Brien and Theresa Cherwonka and brother in-law Jim Gleason. The family will receive relatives and friends at the

on Tuesday from 3-7 p.m. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Pembroke on Wednesday, November 13th, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Parish Cemetery, St. Joseph. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Miramichi Lodge Foundation or the St. Joseph’s Food Bank would be appreciated.
