Obituary
STACEY – Marilyn Elizabeth (nee. Harding) of St. Thomas passed away peacefully with her family at her side at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Monday, November 25th, 2019 at the age of 77. Beloved wife and best friend of Jim Stacey for 57+ years. Marilyn is survived by her children Kim Pettit of Barrie and Cathy Stacey-Jones (Tom) of Highgate; grandchildren Sarah Rooyakkers (Jeff), Lisa Pettit, Terri Ridout (Cody), Rob McLaughlin (Pam) and Scott McLaughlin; great-grandchildren William, Mackenzie, and Alexis Rooyakkers, Jack Ridout, Kade, Draven and Iris McLaughlin, Darryl and Ashley Stacey. Marilyn is missed by her sister Reagan Amlin and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Gladys Harding and her siblings Dick Harding and Ann Foreman. Cremation has already taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the Shawn Jackson Funeral Home 31 Elgin Street, St. Thomas (519-631-0570). A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
