Madonna’s Obituary
Surrounded by her loving family, we announce the passing of our dear mother Madonna Marguerite Peckham at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at the age of 72 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband and best friend David Peckham of 26 years; her children: Catherine (Fred) Boone, Chris (Gina) Parsons, and Brian (Nicole Carter) Parsons; her grandchildren: Christine (Brett), Alison (Jess), Nicole, Amanda (Amanda), Sean, Scott (Lea), Rebecca (Nick), and Stephen; her step sons: David and Jamie Peckham; her brothers: Phonse, Mike (Gladys), Paul (Rose), and Tommy; her sisters: Marie (Joe), Colleen, Helen, and Doreen (Mike); her brothers in law: Gerry Gushue, and John Batt; her sister in law Judy Keough; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Madonna was predeceased by her parents: Thomas and Leonie Keough; her brothers: Tony Shawn, and Pete; and her sisters: Daliah, and Theresa. Visitation for family and friends will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday, November 22, 2019 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place at the Country Haven Chapel on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 10 am with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the Doctors, Nurses, and staff of the Palliative Care Unit for all there delicate care efforts that made her journey the most comfortable as can be.
