Leonard Boudreau
1932-2019
It is
with great sadness that the family of Leonard Weldon Boudreau
announces his passing which occurred peacefully on Saturday, November
9, 2019 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB on
August 10, 1932, he was the son of the late Joseph and Judith
(Robichaud) Boudreau.
Len was the owner and manager or McAuley, Gault & Boudreau
Insurance until his retirement. Over the years, Len was involved in
many sports. He is a member of the Sports Hall of Fame,
«Alpine» in Saint John as well as the Sports Hall of
Fame in Moncton. In his retirement he enjoyed going to auctions and
restoring antique furniture.
Leonard is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn J. (Sprague) Boudreau;
son David Boudreau of Halifax, NS; daughter Lisa Boudreau of
Bloomfield, NB; sisters: Rita Nadeau and Ann Kilfoil; sister-in-law
Arlene Boudreau; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Besides
his parents, Leonard was predeceased by his brothers: Wally and Jimmy
Boudreau; and sisters: Evelyn and Doris Boudreau.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home
(506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB. A Celebration of
Leonard’s life will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019
from 2 to 4 pm from the Lighthouse River Centre, Hampton, NB.
Donations in memory of Leonard may be made to the Canadian Liver
Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice. Personal
