Obituary of Larry Kneale
Inspector J. Larry Kneale (Ret.) completed his journey at hawkswood with his family by his side on Tuesday, November 26, 2019. Born in Woodstock on February 28, 1936. Survived by his loving wife Carol(Irwin), sons David(LouAnn) of Brantford, Mike Kneale of Don Mils, daughters Rhonda Fabian of Tillsonburg and Linda Fabian(James) of Lambeth. He will be sadly missed by three grandchildren John Kneale(Shannon), M. Trevor Kneale (Lindsay) and Stephanie Kerr. Predeceased by parents W & M Kneale, brother CPL James Kneale(O.P.P) and sisters June Weir and Ruth Clark. Larry served for over 30 years with the OPP and retired in 1986. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and had a keen interest in archaeology and Canadian history. Larry was a dedicated member of the Order of Good Cheer (well known for his rum baked beans), member of the Royal Canadian Military Institute and one of the founding members of The Grandfather House. A private family interment will be held with a celebration of Larry’s life at a later date. Donations to Ronald McDonald House would be appreciated.
