Obituary for
Henri Bois
The family announces with great sorrow his sudden death on Wednesday November 20, 2019 at the Lady Minto Hospital in Cochrane at the age of 73 years. He is survived by his wife Joy Searles, his children Gilles Bois (Louise), Huguette Hanna (Chris) and Alain Bois (Cindi), his step-children Bruce Searles (Betsie), Melanie Searles (Wayne) and Matthew Searles (Stephanie); his grandchildren Leila (John), Jena (Aaron), Samantha Ladouceur, Samantha Maki, Skyla (Kyle), Joshua, Justin, Brandon, Ethan and Kingston, his step-grandchildren Ben, Ashton, Evelyn and Harleigh; his 9 great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters Noël Bois (Lise), Georgette Bois, Paul Bois, Henriette Robitaille, Angéline Dolbec, Madeleine Bois (Réal Larochelle), Roger Bois (Diane), Rose-Hélène Rivard (René), Lise Bois and Camille Bois (Lise) and by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Claire Bois (2016) his son-in-law Roger Ladouceur (2013), his parents Joseph Bois (1967) and Laurette Bois (1994), his brother Raymond Bois (1971) and his sister Ghislaine Bois (1952). The family wishes to thank the Paramedics, Dr. Ross and the nursing staff at Lady Minto Hospital for their care and compassion and a very special thank you to Pamela Wright. A memorial service will be held on Sunday November 24, 2019 at 2 pm at the Covenant United Church (corner of Eight Ave. and Pine St. North). The family will receive friends on Sunday from noon until 1:45 pm at the LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME.
A celebration of life will also be held in Cochrane at the New Hope Church, 357 Fifth St. East on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 7 pm.
