GLADYS B. FAREWELL
1952-2019
Passed peacefully away, after a courageous battle, on
Thursday, November 21st, 2019, at Burin Peninsula
Health Care Centre, Burin, NL, GLADYS BERNADINE
FAREWELL, of Creston South, in her
67th year. Leaving to mourn her
loving husband Ivan, daughters Trena Farewell (Rodney), Sackville, NS,
Trudy Farewell (Gilbert), Creston North, and Sherry Farewell (Rene),
Spruce Grove, AB., 4 grandchildren, Devon, Ella, Peter and Courtney;
Siblings Theresa, Leslie, Kevin, Leona, Carmelita, Clyde, Joan and
Melvin; special friend Fronie; and a large circle of extended family
and friends.
Gladys is predeceased by her parents George and
Veronica Stacey and siblings George, Adolph, Roy, James and
Anne.
As per Gladys’s request, cremation has
taken place.
The
family will be receiving visitors at Peninsula Funeral Home in Creston
South on Sunday, November 24th, 2019, from 2 – 9
pm.
Funeral Service will be held at Calvary United Church
in Creston South on Monday, November
25th, at 2 pm. Inurnment will
follow at a later date.
Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations, in
Gladys’s memory, may be made to the Chemotherapy Unit at the
BPHCC, Burin, NL
