Obituary of George Edwards
It is with great sadness that the family of George Edwards of Lawn announces his passing at his residence on November 20, 2019 at the age of 68 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memoires wife Wanda; sons Kevin (Beverly) of Lawn, Stuart of Lawn and Scott of Lawn; daughters Reena Barrett (Chris) of Lawn, Lynn Edwards of St. John’s and Marilyn Edwards of St. John’s; grandchildren Lucas, Lillie, Jackson, Peyton, Emersyn and George; sisters Shirley Taillon (Ray) of Florida, Sheena Edwards of NS, Marilyn Boone of NS, Helen Rose (Reg) of Monkstown, Diana Edwards (Jim) of Lawn and Margie Tarrant (Jody) of AB; brother Leonard (Brud) Edwards of Lawn plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by parents Leonard and Catherine; brothers Doug, Dave and Stuart; sister Sheena and parents-in-law Patrick and Lydia Drake.
In keeping with George’s wishes cremation has taken place.
Family will be receiving visitors on Friday from 12-9PM
Funeral Vigil will be held Friday at 7PM from Holy Name of Jesus RC Church, Lawn.
Funeral Mass will take place at a later date..
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
