ATKINSON, Garth Malcolm
Garth Malcolm Atkinson, late of Regina, Saskatchewan, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at the age of 70 years. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Madeline Atkinson of Pense, Saskatchewan; Garth is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Brenda (Reilander), and sons Travis and Jason Atkinson of Regina Saskatchewan. Also left to mourn, sister-in-law Sandra (Gary) Metz of Regina, niece Christi (Chris) Friesen and their children Bennett, Maddison, and Nash of Calgary Alberta.
As was Garth’s wish, in lieu of a service, the family will invite friends and family to a celebration of his life to be held in the summer, outdoors where Garth enjoyed the beauty of nature, the gathering of friendships and a great BBQ.

A selfless dad with the greatest smile
A Rider fan, he loved to cheer
With transistor replay in his ear
Come rain or shine, it was all the same
He’d NEVER miss a Rider game
Garth loved all nature, the birds and geese
He loved his sons and his only niece
And truth be told throughout his life
He adored his “babe” his loving wife
A family man with a heart of gold
The joy he gave will never get old
To the end he was a fighter, gave his illness a ride
We love you, see you on the other side
