Obituary of Fern Stefanik
FERN STEFANIK
Stefanik, Hazel Fern (Silverthorne) – October 23, 1925 – November 19, 2019 – Fern passed peacefully with family present at 94 years of age at the United Mennonite Home, Vineland. Born in Caistor Centre to the late Roberta Knox Silverthorne and her husband, Cecil. Predeceased by her beloved husband Paul (1992) and brothers Ross, Floyd and Bruce (Silverthorne). She leaves behind her best friend and loving sister Pearl James. Fern was the loving, devoted mother of Roger Stefanik (Denise), Linda Brannan (Tim) and David Stefanik (Jeanne). She was blessed with 5 grandchildren – Matthew Stefanik (Hazel), Martin Stefanik, Terri Lynn Romero (Nelson), Andrew Brannan (Nicola), Michael Brannan (Janina). She cherished her 10 great grandchildren – Jack and Claire Stefanik, Joshua and Ethan Romero, Grant, Noel and Myles Brannan, Thomas, Rosie and Seamus Brannan.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 12noon at the Vineland Chapel of Tallman Funeral Homes, 3277 King St. Vineland, with visitation one hour prior. Reception to follow in the Tallman Fireside Room. Private interment at Mount Osborne Cemetery, Beamsville. If desired, memorial donations to McNally House or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
