Denis LeBlanc
LeBlanc, Denis Jude affectionately known as Ti-Denis, age 81
of West Pubnico, died November 23, 2019 in the Halifax Infirmary. Born
in Middle West Pubnico, he was a son of the late Ambroise and Hilda
(Surette) LeBlanc. Denis is survived by his wife Helen Mae
(Amirault) LeBlanc, sons; Roland (Charlene) and Don (Monica) both of
Lower West Pubnico, daughters; Catrina (Chris) Adams of Argyle Sound
and Marie Jeanne (Steven) Cottreau of Wedgeport, brothers; Louis of
West Pubnico and Tom (Joan) of Middle West Pubnico, sisters; Anna
d’Entremont of Liverpool, and Ruth (Don) Belliveau of
Shediac NB, 8 grandchildren; Richard, Angèle, Emile, Jules,
Leta-Marie, Neomi-Ginger, Miguel and Noah. He was
predeceased by brothers; Charles, Leo in childhood and Simon in
infancy. Visitation will be held in West Pubnico Funeral
Home, Tuesday, November 26 from 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian
burial will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 11am in St.
Peter’s Roman Catholic Church, Middle West Pubnico with Fr.
Cyrille Assihou officiating. Interment will be in the parish

Gilles Boudreau and Friends Cancer Help Fund or to a charity of

A retired scallop fishing Captain since 2000, Ti-Denis loved
life and always had the time for one more story or
joke.
He enjoyed travelling, snowmobiling, western movies, visiting
wharves and dancing. He loved a good game of pool and carried his
beloved cue stick at all weekly games.
His daily routine included contact with his children. He was
a best friend to 8 grandchildren. He loved making them laugh and was
equally proud of any accomplishment, whether a simple school concert,
or a university graduation. He was their top fan at hockey,
basketball, soccer and music recitals.
Helen and the family cannot imagine a world without his
presence, and they fondly cherish the many years they did have
together.

all their care throughout the
years.
