1951 to 2019
With deep sadness the family announces that David passed away in the hospital on November 23rd, 2019 following a lengthy struggle with cancer. He is survived by his loving partner Almida, his son Taylor of Toronto and daughter Karley of Saskatoon, his brothers Gordon (Shirley) Simpson and family of Spruce Home; Merle (Norma) Simpson and family of Meath Park; Barbara Johnson and family of Prince Albert and Donna Bayda and Family of Saskatoon. With the medical challenges of life, he tried to remain active in hunting, fishing and outdoor activities. David was good friends with many in his apartment building and was often hosting suppers and baking goodies for them. He was well known for helping others. David enjoyed crafting and spent many valuable hours doing his art. We will cherish our memories of him, and he will be greatly missed. He was predeceased by his mother Blanche Moffat, his father Cecil Simpson, his brother Fred Simpson and two sisters Pat (Wally) Kaye and Marlene (Ralph) Michel, his brothers-in-law Dennis Johnson and Brian Bayda. Private family and friends service to be held at a later date.
