Obituary of Braeden Kyle Bannister
BANNISTER, Braeden Kyle – age 15, of Lantz. It is with great sadness that the family of the late Braeden Kyle Bannister announce his sudden passing on November 1, 2019, at the young age of 15.
Braeden was a grade 10 honours student at Hants East Rural High. He was a hockey player, baseball player, a volunteer junior firefighter, and loved the great outdoors. He wore a smile wherever he went. Braeden’s kindness was one to be desired and his love for his family tremendous.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his parents, Jeff and Angie Bannister; adored little brother, Kevin; grandparents, Bruce and Liza Parsons and Ed and Elaine Bannister; Aunt Ashley, Uncle Philip and cousin, Teigan Parsons; Aunt Jeannette, Uncle Paul and cousins, Lexie and Emma Martin; Great-Grandmothers, Josephine Hunt and Lillian Bannister; furry companions Ally and Beau; and special friends Austin, Seth, Ethan, Zach, Ian, Dawson, Luke and Charlie; along with his large circle of teammates, extended family and friends.
Braeden was predeceased by his Great Grandparents, Frank Hunt, John and Ella Parsons, Robert Bannister and Chesley and Mary Russell.
Visitation for family and friends will take place 2-4 and 7-9pm, Wednesday, November 6th in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. Funeral service 5pm, Thursday, November 7th, 2019 in East Hants Sportsplex, 1076 Highway 2, Lantz. Following the service, everyone is invited to a reception at Maple Ridge Elementary School, Lantz.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Autism Society.
