BARBARA JUNE NORRISH
(nee DIAMOND)
On Saturday November 2, 2019 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Barbara passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends at the age of 83.
Beloved wife of Stanley Norrish for 41 years. Loving Stepmother of Randy (Linda), Wayne (Teri), Steve (Patti) and stepdaughter in law Brenda. Predeceased by step son David and siblings Alex, Beth, Ruth and Frank. Remembered by her 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many friends and her beloved cat TT.
A special thank you to the Critical Care Unit staff for their excellent care and compassion for Barbara at Lakeridge Health Oshawa where she spent many years of her nursing career.
The family of Barbara will receive friends for Visitation at NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street North, Bowmanville on Friday November 8, 2019 from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm. A service to celebrate her life will be held at HAMPTON UNITED CHURCH 5454 Old Scugog Road, Hampton on Saturday November 9, 2019 at 11 am with a reception to follow. Interment at Hampton Union Cemetery. If desired donations may be made by cheque to Hampton United Church or to a charity of your choice.
