Born: February 8, 1930 Death: November 2, 2019

Andrew was the last surviving member of his family. He was predeceased by his father and mother, David John Taylor and Margaret Wilson (McCullough); his daughter, Sherry Lynn Taylor and his siblings, Agnes (Mike) Thibodeau, David (Kathleen) Taylor, William (Elsie) Taylor, Margaret (Norris) Spencer, Jean (Lloyd) Byers, Robert Taylor and Minerva Taylor.
He was also predeceased by the mother of his children, Bertha (Parsons) Carr.

Andrew was the son of an Irish immigrant family that moved to Canada in the late 1920s. He wore many hats over the years having started work at the age of 13, picking apples.
His vast career endeavours included millwork, woods work, mining, running a roofing business and lastly retiring from his role as a Bridge Foreman working for the Department of Transportation.

Andrew was a decorated war veteran who served and fought for his country.
He served on various bases throughout Canada and Japan and fought as a Sergeant in the Korean War.
His outspoken ways made him many friends over the years who will miss him and his dry and spirited sense of humour. He enjoyed being with family and friends, and looked forward to his weekly breakfast outings.
He had a great love of cars and animals. You would often find him going for long drives and both he and Eva enjoyed spending time with their beloved cats, squirrels and birds throughout his retirement years.
As per Andrews request, there will be no visitation or funeral.
A private family interment will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the SPCA or the charity of the donor’s choice.
A special thanks to Dr. King, Dr. MacDonald, Extra Mural and DVA for the kind and compassionate palliative care provided. Arrangements have been entrusted to York Funeral Home. Online condolences and sharing of memories may be expressed through www.yorkfh.com
