Gottschalk, Walter:
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 29th, 2019 at Pinehaven Nursing Home at the age of 89.
Beloved husband of Katherine for 65 years.
Loving father of Herb (Jan) and Jim (Kathy).
Cherished grandpa of Jill (Ralf), Jamie (Pierre), Emma and Grace, and great-grandpa of Elsa, Ewen and Sebbie.
Survived by his sister-in-law, Inge.
Predeceased by his brother, Gerhard and brother-in-laws, Nick (Eva) and John (Mary).
Walter was the last surviving partner of Able Masonry. He enjoyed spending time at his cottage with his family.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
