Peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Monday, October 21, 2019 shortly before his 74th birthday. Beloved husband of Ann (nee Martin) for 49 years. Loving father of James (Amy), Danielle and Matt (Manasa). Cherished Grandad of Atticus, Arya and Ronin. Dear brother of Joan, Michael, Josie and Christine. Predeceased by his parents Joan and Michael, his brother John and his infant sister Susan. Vin will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Friday, October 25, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church, 2261 Parkway Drive, Burlington on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow at the Burlington Legion, 828 Legion Road. If desired, donations to The Carpenter Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
