Victor Leonard Bigelow
Bigelow, Victor Leonard – It is with deep sorrow that the family of Victor Leonard Bigelow announce his passing on Sunday, October 13th, at the age of 85. He was surrounded by his family, who knew him as “The King”. He had a love of horses which began in his youth, working in the family’s logging business. He often said that the horse was the most beautiful animal that God ever created.
Left to mourn is his wife of 65 years Bernice Bigelow, whom he called his angel. He also leaves behind his children: George, Deborah, Randy (Diane), Jody and Charlotte (Sean), and his grandchildren: Kelly, Shannon, Geoffrey (Amy), Tyler-Anne (Sean), Breanna (Ryan), Jessica, Victoria, Brydon, Olivia, Brooke, Jonathan, and Julia, as well as 12 great grandchildren. He will also be missed by his 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
He was predeceased by his parents Leonard and Ella Bigelow, as well as his daughter Karen, and Daughter-in-Law Cathy.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will occur on Saturday November 2 from 1pm to 4pm at the Coleman Municipal Complex. Donations to Care Close to Home or to the New Liskeard Fall Fairs “Heavy Draft Horse Pull” will be accepted in lieu of flowers. Condolences and contributions may be left at www.buffamleveille.com.
