Tanya Dawn Estabrooks
1974-2019
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing
of Tanya Dawn Estabrooks of Whitecourt, Alberta, formerly of Riverview
on October 13, 2019. She was the daughter of Judy Estabrooks
and the Late Bev Estabrooks. Besides her mother, Tanya
leaves behind her precious son Edric and the love of her life, Charles
Cseppento, younger brothers Scott (Carrie) Estabrooks, Robbie (Ashley
Frizzell) Estabrooks. As well, she leaves her much-loved
nieces Rebecca, Sydney and Madison and Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins in
Southeastern New Brunswick. Tanya was predeceased by her grandparents
Connie and Bob Palmer and in 2012 by her father Beverly Estabrooks,
and is now again in his arms. Tanya will be laid to rest
with her father.
Tanya was born and raised in Riverview where she met
Charles. They spent their first three years together in
Moncton before beginning their lives in Whitecourt, where they settled
and started their family. Tanya attended the University of
New Brunswick in Fredericton, where she attained her goals of a
Bachelors Degree in English and a Masters in Education.
Family was everything to Tanya, and she loved her nieces Rebecca,
Sydney and Madison, as though they were her own children.
Tanya loved being creative and left behind many beautiful works of art
and creations from her efforts in Painting, Embroidery and
Crochet. She was a fan of many pop culture and science
fiction shows, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer to anything Disney and
rooted for many different contestants on American Idol, The Masked
Singer, and Big Brother as though the people she cared for were her
own family. Tanya owned and operated two businesses with her
husband. She enjoyed exploring the world and camping with
her family, tenting under the stars with her husband many nights while
their child slept nearby, enjoying the peace and serenity in
nature.
Her family will be receiving friends and relatives at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine
Road, Riverview (869-2007) on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 6-8
p.m. to share and celebrate Tanya’s life.
Donations may be made in Tanya’s memory to the IWK
Children’s Hospital, Children’s Wish Foundation or
the charity of the donor’s choice.
