1943-2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lynn Shepherd on October 17, 2019. She leaves to mourn her beloved husband of 57 years Brian Shepherd. Cherished mother of Wendy (Rémi), Carolyn (Robert) and Wayne (Carmen), loving grandmother of James and Adriana. Sister of Brian (Gail) and sister-in-law of Rodney (Kathy). She also leaves many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Lynn led a very active social life and enjoyed entertaining, gardening, bridge, lawn and alley bowling.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Dr. Kevin Petrecca at the Montreal Neurological Institute as well as Dr. Scott Owen, Nathalie Melnick, Pedro Mejia and all the supportive staff at the MNI. Thank you to the staff of the West Island Palliative Care Residence for the exceptional care and support provided in her last weeks of life.
Visitation will take place at St. John Fisher Church (120 Summerhill, Pointe-Claire, H9R 2L7) on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital for Dr. Kevin Petrecca’s research would be greatly appreciated. Call Neuro Development office at 514-398-1958. Donations to the West Island Palliative Care Residence also appreciated.
