Obituary of Shelley Rice
Rice, Shelley Elizabeth of St. Thomas and formerly of Aylmer passed away at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 in her 64th year. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by brothers Paul and wife Joanne of Toronto, Bob and wife Cindy of Aylmer and sister Pat of St.Thomas. Loving aunt of Paul Jr.(Slavica), Alexis(Tim), Christina, Jennifer, Dustin, and Derrick. She was predeceased by her father Jack (1975), mother Barbara (Holborn) Rice(2008). Born in St. Thomas on July 30, 1956. Shelley worked for many years at the Ontario Police College and was an avid golfer, bowler and enjoyed photography. She recently ignited her childhood passion of playing the piano and performed with good friends at the Old Town Hall, Aylmer and other parties and concerts. Shelley volunteered at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Tuck Shop. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 7-9pm where a service will be held to celebrate Shelley’s life on Saturday, October 12 , 2019 at 11:00am. Cremation has taken place.
