Allan (Seanie) March

With broken hearts we announce the passing of Allan March Sr. (Seanie), on Thursday, October 17, 2019, at the Northside General Hospital.
Born in Port aux Port on September 30, 1930, he was the son of the late James and Edith (Prado) March.
Seanie was a gentle, loving man to everyone and every creature. He was well known for his amazing carpentry skills, and heart of gold. His success in the concrete business was attributed to his infectious happy personality, and incredible workmanship.
Seanie is survived by his son Dannie (Sheila), grandchildren Daniel (DA)(Heather), Sharlene (Shannon), great-grandson Jeremy Tremblett, daughter-in-law Ruth Ann, special friend and dance partner Theresa Trenhold. Also left to mourn are his brothers Gilbert, Roddy, and Joe (Helen), sisters Shirley, Joan, and Sadie, many nieces and nephews, including special niece and grand-niece Edie and Sam Boyd.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Cecilia (Holic) son Allan Jr., brother Ricky and sister Rona.
The family would like to thank the amazing hospital staff at the Northside General Hospital 4th and 5th floors, with special consideration to the Dialysis team for the years of warmth and support.
Visitation for Seanie March will be held on Monday, October 21, 2019, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm in J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. A time of remembrance will take place at 8:45 in the funeral home. Words of comfort may be forwarded to his family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com
