Ronald E. (Bud) Caughlin April 18 1934-October 25 2019
Ron passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health Palliative Care on Friday October 25, 2019 surrounded by his family. Ron was the loving husband and best friend of Marilyn (Trumble) Caughlin for 65 wonderful years. He was the best and loving father of Lynda Miller and Jim (Linda) Caughlin. Cherished grandfather of Tara Miller of Sarnia and Kristen (Chris) Cogswell of Strathroy. Loving great grandpa to Chase, Mariah, Tori, Logan and Bryson. Survived by sisters Louise Schindel, Betty Metcalfe, Joyce Calcutt and brothers Bill and Roy (Linda) Caughlin. Ron was also the brother in law of Lorne (Butch) Trumble and wife Sharron and Ilene Trumble (late Bill). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Ron worked for CNR for several years and after retiring from Purity Dairy he volunteered his time for L.E.O. He will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held at the D. J. ROBB FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE on Monday October 28th from noon until 2:00 p.m., followed by a committal service at Lakeview Cemetery. If so desired memorial gifts in memory of Ron can be made to Bluewater Health Palliative Care or Sarnia and District Humane Society.
